RED Mountain is primed for the second half of the season

ROSSLAND, B.C. – RED has been graced with over 4.5 meters of snowfall this season, or over 175 inches!  With a terrific December and January, RED has got it’s ‘second wind’ getting ready for the final half of an exciting season. 

 

Having a NEW day lodge that features a brand new Rafters bar, a larger sun deck, conference centre, general store among other notable changes, it has been an enjoyable stop for our visitors this busy season.  “With RED’s new slack country terrain, new facilities and exceptional snowfall this year, visitors that want a great place to ski or snowboard with  a great community vibe is starting to catch on”, noted Erik Kalacis – RED’s General Manager and VP of Sales and Marketing.

Things are looking strong to the end of the season and there are a number of lodging options to make a person’s journey to RED Mountain and Rossland a little friendlier.  Spring break with the kids, or a girl’s weekend away, RED Mountain Resort Lodging has an offer that hard to refuse: affordable luxury condos and lift ticket at $109/person/night (minimum 2 night stay and quad occupancy).  Kids 12 and under ski or ride for free.  Valid March 1 to April 3, 2011.
