This winter, start your Swiss ski holiday at touchdown, with a glass of crisp Valais wine, a snowy mountainscape, and a deep relaxing massage. Lean back, your holiday has begun -- and you’re only on the train!

Swiss Transfer Ticket holders flying to Geneva on Saturday from 29th January till 19th March 2011 will have the chance to take the special new Snowtrain.

The Swiss Transfer Ticket is an affordable flat-rate return ticket that allows one day transfers from point of entry to any destination in Switzerland and back.

Just purchase it before you leave the UK and get a reservation for the snow train from any of our various sales outlets.

As part of the comprehensive Swiss Travel System, the Swiss Transfer Ticket is valid on all trains and post buses. No need to hire a car or sit in a cramped coach. Travel in style.

In addition to the convivial bar carriage, the Snowtrain features massage chairs, free goodie bag, and a handy picture wall with a picturesque Valais backdrop to send your photo to friends back home. All ages will be entertained with a Nintendo Wii ski game and the chance to win a big competition. You can even take part in a pre-ski warm-up with your on-board ski instructor.

The Snowtrain departs Geneva at 13.40, arriving Aigle, Sion, Visp and Brig among other stations – taking you straight to some of the best snow-sure ski resorts in the Alps. Amidst the Valais’ 50-plus peaks reaching above 4,000 metres, snow dreams come true here from November until late April -- and on glacial summits throughout summer, too.

Valais resorts offer something for everyone. Whether you’re headed to car-free Saas-Fee, the thermal spa Leukerbad, sunny Crans-Montana, Nendaz and Verbier’s powder paradise, or Portes du Soleil and its 650 km of runs – the Snowtrain and a Swiss Transfer Ticket will take you there – efficiently and in style!

The Snowtrain operates Saturdays 29 January to 19 March, from Geneva airport to the resorts of the Valais region. Children under 16 travel for free when accompanied by one paying parent. Buy before you fly! The Swiss Transfer Ticket is a flat-rate return ticket allowing one-day transfers from point of entry to any destination in Switzerland and back for £79 in 2nd class.
