Perisher, Australia, July 15, 2010 - The predicted blizzard arrived
The predicted blizzard arrived with heavy snowfalls across the entire
resort, starting early yesterday morning and continuing through to the
wee hours of today, with 25cm received overnight alone! It's cleared up
today and the resort is looking good!
Our mountain crews
have been busy preparing new lifts and runs for opening, including
Pretty Valley at Perisher and Kaaten Triple Chair at Smiggins. Blue
Calf T-Bar at Guthega also opened today for guests staying at Guthega,
there's no access to Blue Cow as yet but we'll be working on it. The
toboggan slope will also opened today.
