15-20cms Of Fresh At Mt Buller Today (10-May-11)
Ski patrol have been out measuring across the resort
UPDATED SNOW LEVELS - Ski patrol have been out measuring across the resort and the average depths are between 15-20cms!
The cold blast crossing the state overnight has brought more snow to Mt Buller with locals waking to a cover of snow this morning.
Between 15-20cms of snow was reported by the Mt Buller Ski Patrol who were out measuring snow depths a month before the snow season official gets underway.
Temperatures this morning stayed down at -5 and light snow has continued to fall, with flurries expected across the day as the cold weather continues.
Snow reporter Rhylla Morgan was busy filing early updates on the 15-20cms of snow.

"It is always exciting to see snow on the ground - even it is a little early!" said Rhylla Morgan from Buller Ski Lifts. "Our teams are working hard on final preparations for the snow season which kicks off on the Queens Birthday long weekend next month. These early snows certainly have everyone thinking ahead to the season and counting the days until we can be skiing."
The road to the resort is open although care is recommended for any visitors driving up to see the fresh snowfalls and join in the snowball fights!
Welcome to winter!
