Lying along Japan's eastern coastline, Aichi is better known for its surf beaches on the Atsumi Peninsula than action above the snow line. Still, there is one resort in the Aichi prefecture if you just have to get up there. Aichi does have several historical and industrial sites worth looking at too.

Activities in the area include a tour of the Toyota car factory, the monkey park at Inuyama and the historical castles in Nagoya, Okazaki, Toyohashi and Inuyama.
